You can, but it is a weird way to do it.<br />
This example is assuming that your PC is called APC123<br />
1) &nbsp;Share out the printer that is on the USB port, let's say we call it HPLJ<br />
2) &nbsp;Make sure that the printer in #1 is your default printer<br />
3) &nbsp;Create a bogus printer that is exactly the same as the printer in #1, but it is on the LPT1 port (also it must have a different name then #1).<br />
4) &nbsp;From a command prompt type in the following:<br />
<br />
NET USE LPT1: \\APC123\HPLJ /PERSISTENT:YES<br />
<br />

LPT printer
