Hi, I followed your steps for creating the template. However, I set the template so it requires approval to be issued. I was able to create the request and issue it in the CA, but how do I retrieve the issued certificate from the server?

Browse under the Issued Certificates subfolder of certsrv.msc and right click>All tasks>Export Binary data...

Otherwise browse directly to http://<CAservername>/certsrv and submit cert request via webpage and download .cer
