I'm unable to login to Lync with Automatic configuration from a PC.  When I try to sign in, I get the following message,"Cannot sign on to Lync.  Cannot sign in because the server is temporarily unavailable.  If the problem continues, please contact your support team.

If I try connecting with a manual configuration by entering lyncpool.xxxxxxxx.net, it connects without a problem.

This is usually DNS

Did you set up the srv records on your public DNS?

Yes, all DNS records were added and ping-able from the PC.  I have the pool, admin, and sip and can ping them.  I also set up _sipinternaltls._tcp.xxxxxxxx.net and I was able to do the nslookup to find it.

Just wanted to update this ticket. It was a certificate error that we had. Our internal domain is .net with our external domain being .com. So trying to get users to automatically log in had issues with the certificate looking for the .net login but they were doing .com also. After reworking the certificate all users are able to help.

We also had to make one change with the DNS and that would have been the main issue if we didn't mess the certificate up.
