Cloning computers

Need to build 32 XP computers for a school.  XP has one license number.

Any flaw with building a computer, updating it, adding all applications and THEN imaging it?

I'd then throw the image onto the other computers, boot them, change their computer names and THEN join them to the domain.

Any problems?

As long as the XP license is a Volume License that the school has purchased then that should be OK.
Yes, get the computers as ready to go as possible before running sysprep on them and imaging.

bill_lynch:  Yes, the license is proper.  I wasn't going to use sysprep per se.  I've used sysprep in the past and know that it has a little bit of an initial boot time... thus I was going to get the computer 100% ready and use a "ghost" tool to clone, reimage, then rename the computer.
