web page development

in the process of creating a web page for my employer, what is the best one to use to-date. I will work with free, but pay to utilize all its resources. i've tried weebly, looking at wix, but just noticed yola. Any suggestions? not much of an html scripter, but know the basic-basics. Thanks,

I have found weebly to be a great online web development with div-tag downloads that makes it great to both web developers and newbies. now i can create and show my secretaries how to upload daily bulletins and news on their own with weebly. very inexpensive with awesome support.

The best what ?

Most web pages/sites will be developed with a tool such as DreamWeaver or Expression, these reduce the need to write HTML to generate the page, though for anything more than a basic site knowledge of HTML/Javascript is useful

I'd suggest a CMS like Joomla.  Lots of hosting services can set you up or you can do it from scratch.  I've done a bunch for folks and then showed them how to make changes.  Super easy and flexible once you get the hang of it.  Editable from anywhere without needing to know html/css instead of having to make changes and upload.  I've worked on simple e-commerce sites all the way up to a major university.

Other options are Drupal or Wordpress.  I haven't work with either but from what I heard and read Joomla is kind of the middle of the road as far as not overly complicated (unless you want it to me) but still tons of community involvement on plugins and components.  I put the company I work for on it for IntrAnet and once the creative team got the hang of it I replaced our static Internet site and let the creative team loose on it.

thanks for suggestion coffee. If didn't make it clear, I want to make a website with free online web builders, does anybody have any suggestions on a free website builder available? Thanks,
