Can anybody tell me if we can use any other vendor ip phone or softphone to connect on a cisco UC500 series system?

If yes can you provide me with a bit more further information?

Thanks

Using SIP phones with the UC500 is kind of a hit or mis thing.  if you go to the UC500 forum "http://uc500.com/en/3rd-party-sip-phones-and-cme"  you will see tons of people having success.  A SIP client that works is X-Lite and the Linksys phones seem to do good also.
