how to configure windows terminal server
Dear Experts:
We are planning for the setup of VMware essentila plus and EMC storage if we are planning for the thin clients i think then going for the windows terminal server will be ideal solution. But to I do not know what are the licensing polices Iam looking for the 25 users getting connected to the termial server who uses , ms office (word , excel and ms outlook) and internet explorer .
1. Please let me know what all softwares and licensing to be procured from microsoft

Thanks for the reply, small confusion that is if windows2008 R2 is configured as a terminal server :
1. by using ncomputing devices or wyse can I acheive the desktop login for these devices.
2.we procure VDA licenses from microsoft
3. ncomputing devices or wyse logins should get the desktop environment with different login for each user having basic applications like internet explorer, ms office suite (ms word , excel , ms outlook and powe point) adobe reader and local printer and also network printer access.

Now from my experience you need to a Terminal Server USER\DEVICE CAL for any user or device that will connect to your TS server.

You need to purchase a VLK for Office to install on a TS server http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/office-2003-resource-kit/office-2003-licensing-and-system-requirements-HA001140301.aspx
Dependent on what Windows Server edition you are installing will depend on what guide you would use for TS\RDS install
