From what I understand SSIS does not come with SQL Express (can someone confirm this?)

What are the licensing requirements for MS SQL Standard for an application that will have one administrator. I will need the SSIS component and as far as I know I will need minimum the std edition in order to have the SSIS option

The App that will connect to SQL is for an eCommerce Magento connection to upload and download data. One administration and connection to a pervasive database with SSIS

Can someone give me an idea as to license requirements and cost as well for MS SQL for the above app?

Thats right the express edition doesnt support SSIS

Best bet would be  sql server 2008  standard edition and  it will cost around 8,000 per processor

Do you know if the Workgroup edition comes with SSIS?

When I do a quote on MS website I get the following. I don't even see the workgroup edition. I'm not sure but does the first option come with 5CAL's? I don't see any option to select the CAL's?

Well, the workgroup has only limited features as far as SSIS is concerned.I think its limited to just import export options. If you want more than that then SQL Standard edition is best choice. The one mentioned $1199
I beleive is for just 1 server. If ypu need addition CAL's then it will be more. The one mentioned as $9500 iI believe is for 1 processor with unlimited CAL's.
