Hi,

I need to flash my cisco 1040 accepoint from lightweight to autonomous.
I can only find an old ios image that generates gibirish in hyper terminal after flashing.
the latsest image is c1140-k9w7-tar.124-25d.JA1.tar
can anyone tell me where to find it besides getting a service contract with cisco itself?
Or if anyone has a copy they could send me :)

To be in compliance with Cisco you need to obtain the IOS image from them or a reseller. Sounds like this was used equipment? I'm sure with a little googling you can find out how to obtain one by other means, but I doubt anyone here will risk their account and condone it by giving you the steps. Sorry that I can't be of more assistance.
