Facebook apps

Is it safe to assume that adding apps to facebook isn't allowed any more?  I'd like to add twitter or youtube to my business page (http://www.facebook.com/vslcomputers):

Facebook Apps
After a couple of hours of searching and viewing videos that show links that are not there anymore I assume that this is a thing of the past?
