Clear and refresh google web cache

I've some problems with a side - for any reasons is not listet by google and when I query the google cache it response an error 404:
404. That’s an error.
The requested URL /search?sclient=psy-ab&hl=de&biw=1680&bih=813&source=hp& was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

What does that mean - an error at the index page?
There's anything fine and I can't understand why that happens ...
Maybe problems with htaccess that only happens for bots?
However what is now need for - to clear this cache entry and is there a way to list it again for the bots?

Are you using Google webmaster tools?

In my opinion this should be the best start for finding out problem that Google web crawlers could have with your site. Any crawling errors, instant prviews etc related to your site can be controlled there.
