Moodle: Is there a way that guest users can take a normal moodle quiz

Dear Experts,

Can a quiz be set up so that guest users can take the quiz?  I am preparing a quiz for a public relations type event where the users may be casual Moodle visitors and I don't want to have them type in really complex passwords.

Is there some way they can just type in the guest button and start taking the quiz?

I have read that in theory this is possible with the Hot Potato module, but no such activity is enabled under Site Administration --> Activities --> Manage Activities.
Best Wishes,

Philip
