Moodle: Is there a way to make the passwords less strict?

Dear Experts,
I am using Moodle for a very light public relations type event where I want people strolling up to a conference booth to log in with a user name / password combination like:

user1  user1
user2  user2

Of course when I tested this out I found that Moodle has an absolutely Stalinist password creation module that requires 8 character passwords with at least one non-alphanumeric and (JUST SHOOT ME!) one capital letter.

Is there some way to take off the password vetting so I can create non-case sensitive passwords of the type shown above?
Best Wishes,

Yes, it should be possible! All you need to do is change the password policy. Have a look here:

To set your policy, go to Settings, then Site Administration, then Site Policies, and then scroll down to "Password policy". Make sure it's enabled and update the settings below to your liking. Hope that helps.
