Good Day Experts.
We have a decent mobile version of our main site and need to include code to handle tablet detections and redirection in a different way to a Phone.
I’ve read articles on using screen resolution, etc but that it not without issue, so I was hoping that somehow had resolved this issue already and would be willing to share the solution.
To recap. Detect and redirect based on a Tablet device.
We're using .net 4.0
Any ideas?

There are two methods

1. Checking the user-agent string which may changed as new devices come along.
2. Adapting your site according to client capabilities such as checking screen resolution.

WURFL is a project to look at - http://wurfl.sourceforge.net/
or a simple google search can give you results like http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5341637/how-do-detect-android-tablets-in-general-useragent
