Lately the daily backup on one of my WIndows 2003 servers ha sstarted to fail because it is "waiting to retry shadow copy..."

This appears to have started out of the blue, no changes to the machine.  I booted the server and the copy worked for a couple of days and now fails again.

I applied all the updates above but nothing seemed to help.

Only when I removed the Truecrypt encryption for the destination drive did the back start to work again.  This is odd as Backup on XP works fine when the destination device is encrypted and a half-dozen other WInservers also work fine with Truecrypt encryption.
