Does ROBOCOPY change the archive bit of source files if they do not exist on the destination location. I am getting strange results on tape backup jobs with nightly incremental backups .

Are you running robocopy with /AC or /M? If so please adjust accordingly and see if that resolves: http://www.xxcopy.com/xxcopy30.htm
