isuue with outlook and sage

having an issue with sage micropay sending out payslips from outlook. Keep getting "a program is trying to access email information stored in outlook" error. Have been onto sage support and they say it's an outlook error.

Searched everywhere hopefully someone here will have an answer.

This is by design, and is a security setting designed to protect you from viruses such as "I love you" etc...

There are workarounds to allow particular programs to have access, or to turn off the warnings completely.

This link refers to Outlook 2007, but I am sure there will be similar settings for Outlook 2010

I had found the article about progamatic access via the trust centre settings. However the options under this are all greyed out. The anti-virus in use is sophos just in case this may be causing the issue.

If your Sophos is up to date, and your Windows Security Center isn't complaining that your antivirus is up to date, then it is possible that the settings are greyed-out because your computer is controlled by an Active Directory Group Policy (stopping you changing them), or an Exchange Server policy, or you don't have Administrator Rights.

Do any of these ring a bell?
