New install Sharepoint 2007 Server: The SiteMapProvider 'SPXmlAdminContentMapProvider' cannot be found.

I just installed a sharepoint 2007 on a newly built server win2008 Enterprise.  I had some pain installing (I had to download patches, etc before install would work). Then I had to change the IIS Machine Key encryption and decryption method to tripleDES for the main sharepoint page to load.  Now I still cant access the site on port 22193 (which it tries to access after the sharepoint install).  The error I receive is attached:

How do I fix this?  Is the site with port 22193 really needed?

If I access the site on port 9589 I get the following message: HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.0
Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2011 15:02:13 GMT
Connection: close

I am guessing that this is normal.

If this site on 22193 is sharepoint admin site, it means something is wrong. goto  C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\22193\web.config and see if the xml is malformed. Otherwise try running the sharepoint configuration wizard by specifiying different port number for sharepoint admin and see if it fixes the issue ?

Thank you for your comment pramodsk40.  I resolved the issue by deleting all IIS sites, and rerunning the wizard.  All sites came up without any issue.

the solution for pramodsk40, although may of been a resolution to the issue, I found deletion of all IIS sites to be a less intrusive fix.
