DcGetDcName&lt;pdc_required&gt; call failed<br />

Greetings,<br />
With the current PDC role holder, i get error 1355 from dcdiag when running dcdiag from a GC.<br />
I also get the message &quot;you cannot modify domaiin or trust information because a PDC emulator cannot be contacted&quot;.<br />
i have moved the fsmo roles to another server and this problem seems to go away. I would like for this certain box to remain the PDC. <br />
i ran a few ntdsutil commands from reading another thread here. the results looked correct. i am willing to run them again for any reason you suggest. thanks for you time. any suggestiions are appreciated.<br />
