Paypal expert required for question regarding express checkout using SOAP com.paypalobjects.www

Hi,

I have linked to com.paypalobjects.www in my asp.net website and want to get started with express checkout. Can you provide some c# code on how to perform the basic SetExpressCheckoutReq etc.

I have developed my ecommerce website and also developed my own custom shopping cart, I am just looking for some help to complete the last step of collecting payments.

That, and their current market position is the only thing keeping them around.

I have seen a lot of bad companies and programming, but nothing comes remotely close to PayPal; an utter disgrace in every facet.

I have actually endured the agony to get that "working" as you ask.  But what I had to go through is not something I can easily pass along here.  (Hence, my recommendation.)  I will consider posting here if I find time.  Otherwise, try emailing me.  I hope you understand.

I would recommend that you avoid PayPal at any cost.  This may initially sound like a non-answer to your inquiry, but in short time you will find that it is the proper answer, and worth all of 500 points.

The PayPal APIs and development teams are the pinnacle of incompetence in every respect, and an incredible waste of time.

My reason for using paypal is that it is free. Is there another free alternative? I kind of agree with you, no one seems to know how to use the API.
