McAfee Agent 4.5.0.1852 acting very strange

hi experts,

 I have the above version of McAfee installed on my system and can't open the antivirus console to run the mcafee software. on top of that im getting a bunch of duplicate mcafee icons on the system tray like 15 of them and once I hover over them with the mouse they dissapear. What can I do to resolve this behavior?

Uninstall it,run cccleaner, reinstall it, job done....

I removed some but the MacAfee Agent even though disabled can’t be removed.
I disabled it and restarted but still can’t remove it

Run frminst.exe /forceuninstall  from the c program files McAfee common framework directory

  I'm getting error mesesage " The Parameter is incorrect" when I double click on frminst.exe or even when I run it from RUN with the /forceuninstall.

Ah, you need to open a command prompt and cd to the correct directory
