How do i set password protected when openning excel 2007 Macro file?

i would like that every user that opening excel 2007 file it will ask him to insert password, how do i do that?

Hello,

in the File > Save dialog, click the Tools dropdown > General Options.

You can enter a password here. There are two kinds of workbook password, one you need to enter to open the file and another one you can set up for people to edit the file.

You can also use password protection on the VBA project. That dialog is in the VBE, though.

If you want to protect the VBA code with a password, open the VBE, right click on the project and select Properties. You can set a password on the Protection tab.
