Quality PDF generation using Flex

We need to create a Quality Printable PDF generated using Adobe Flex application. We create the bitmap images and that has to be created as Printable PDF with quality, so that the image will not pixalate.

This link can give you head start if you are using AlivePDF.

If you are trying to create image of components in that case above link discuss about "ImageSnapshot" utility to generate high res images.

But if you have some externally loaded raster images and you are creating Bitmap (For e.g. collage)  from them in that case it will pixlate because those are on screen dpi.
For this issue Alternative will be to load High resolution images in memory and create the same layout in memory and apply similar settings on them and now add them in PDF.

If possible, this can be handled quite simply by using ColdFusion.  If that is not an option, are there other back-end systems you can access like Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services?
