OpenManage Setup - Login Errors
I have an older Dell PowerEdge 1650. "Somebody" wiped and re-installed it with Windows Server 2003, but no Dell tools. I tried to put in the latest OpenManage software. Upon getting the login failures, I read the instructions more thoroughly and went through all the steps to create the self-signed certificate and install WinRM, and the HTTPS listener port. Then I went from "Login Failed - Connection Error" to "Login Failed - Internal Error".
I've tried other versions of OM, no joy. I tried an OM so old it couldn't see the disk array, which is what I need to control. I've tried downloading the disk images, but every image is corrupted somehow. I'm at a complete and total loss.
I need to manage the disk array. How can I do this?
