Urgent Issue BB 9780

Have a High Maintenance BB user who @ 2:29 today stopped receiving email on his BB 9780
Server is BESX running on SBS 2008 - user has been working fine for the last 6 months, no other users are reporting this issue on the BES

Under Enterprise Activation on the BB im being told it is saying Status - Initializing Service Desktop

He had powered of the device and removed the Battery and turned back on still it says this.

How would I fix this issue ?

Hi it-pro,

Check for 3G (the 'g' must be in capitals) and the BlackBerry symbol next to the signal bar. If you don't see those, there is a problem with the network tariff. Contact your mobile service provider.

Beyond that, what has changed? The user will not admit to having done anything, of course.

Hi,

Try regenerating the encryption key on the device - it's under options, security and press the BlackBerry button.

Best place to start is the log files, in particular the DISP, POL, MAGT - look for any errors relating to that user and come back and let us what you find - we can help from there?

Seems the issue is with the carrier which does not happen too often, hopefully it will come back online soon. I will keep this one open incase there is still an issue.

Found solution on other forum.
Australia Centric issue, issue would continue to plague BB worldwide ;)
