SSIS and “Slowly changing dimension”

Dear all
I am starting to create my first SSIS solution
I heard that “Slowly changing dimension” will do the job for me how?

I want to detect all the new rows added or deleted or edited in specific table, so as far as I understood that “Slowly changing dimension” will do this job for me.

My question:
Is there any details explanation about how it works?
I need many samples preferred to be video

Thanks is advance
