Email group when Outlook Public Calendar entry is made

I have an Outlook Public Calendar that we use for out manager's group.  This calendar is used to schedule time away from the office, i.e. vacation, Dr. appt, customer visits, etc.

Is there a way to automatically email the manager group whenever a new entry is created?

All managers are using a minimum of Office 2k7 and we are running Exchange 2K7

The only way he can get emailed or notified would be if he was manually added as an attendee to the "meeting/appointment"

You can create a AD User w/ exchange account
Call it Off Site Scheduler,Leave Calendar,Out of Office Calendar,ect.. ect…
Give everyone view only and set the Manager as a Editor Delegate, which receives Copies of Invites

Log onto a PC as this User/Calendar
Go into Tools>Options>Delegates
Setup the Manager as a delegate
check the setting that he gets a copy of all appointments\invitations

Now when anyone creates a booking by inviting this calendar, the Manager will get a email notification
He can accept or decline
You could also setup the Calendars resource scheduling to auto accept invitations and remove cancelations if the manager doesn’t want to manually accept each one
