Mailflow from exchange 2007

I have a domain with one exchange 2003 and one exchange 2007 server. We were planning to remove the 2003 server, but before getting around to it, the server have crashed. The 2003 server did not contain any data, so now it is just going to remain offline. Exchange 2007 is working fine, but I have been left with a problem of routing outbound mail correctly.
All outbound mail end up in a "SmtpRelayToTiRg" queue. What configuration changes do I need to make so outbound mail will flow from my exchange 2007 server, and what about the mails already in the queue?

you need to add a send connector in your exchange 2007 EMC -> org config -> hub transport -> send connector and create a new one

set you 2007 as source server, address space of * cost 1 and specifiy if you want it to route using DNS or smart host
