SBS 2008 Disaster Recovery Plan

Hi,

Had a customer ask how they can be up and running if their server blew up basically.
They got about 250GB and 4 offices that vpn tunnel into them to access server data.
Using SBS bare metal backup.

The customer wants to know if they can have something constant in place in case of emergency to be back up and running quickly as poss!
We suggested buying another Server that's of almost identical in hardware to the existing one he’s running.  Then can do a bare metal restore to the new DR server then it's just a case of keeping the data from the live server and DR server up to data and synced.
Was going to look at software like double take to do this. Anyone got any views on this software? Also in this scenario would the customer need to buy an additional CALS and SBS Server License?

Many Thanks in advance for help and suggestions

look at storage craft shadow protect.. its a great product that takes snapshots.
the best part is it can recover to different hardware very easily.
it also has a live recovery feature/option.
where it can be constantly recovering from backups to a virtual machine, so it doesnt take very long to recover in the event of a failure.
SBS backup is mediocre at best.
