Send email to exchange distribution list with ColdFusion

Trying to send email to Distribution List using cfmail tag. It keeps coming back
#550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found ##
Is there a way to query the exchange server for the actual address's in the distro list?

Several ways to do that, one way is to open the DL through Outlook and click on the E-mail Addresses tab, you should see and "SMTP" address in there
