Our Company Web Home Page loaded this morning to "an unexpected error has occurred", message.  There is a link where I can select, "Web Parts maintenance Page".  If I select it I access the Manage Web Part Page: Default.  From there I can view the Documents and List, Site Settings Etc.

What can be done to resolve the home page error?

Thanks, but we rebooted the server and all is well now.  I will look at changing the web.config file as stated on your link so I can investigate further if it happens again.
