SQL Server Reboot - ASPX App

Is there a way to automatically take a web app off line when the SQL servers being rebooted?  This reboot occurs everyday at a precise time (scheduled event) and generation 15 - 20 error messages when external customers try connect via the web site.

If you take the app offline, the errors will be uglier.
I will suggest that in the masterpage, check for the DB availability and if down, show a single Error page.
You can configure the same in the Global.asax file.
