I have three files that show in my Solution Explorer on  a windows application that I have.  What does the TemporaryKey.Pfx mean and can the files be deleted from the solution explorer on the project.  I googled it and there is omething mentioned about a certificate and click once deployment.  I looked and there is aa certificate with a date 08/27/2012 expiration in the Project Properties.

When the application is deployed on the network, will this affect others opening the application and working with it?

ANy help is appreciated.  I do not know how this got in the Solution Explorer.

Hi

TemporaryKey.Pfx  is a certificate for signing the assembly. when the application is opened by other users, if the certificate is protected by a password; it will display a password prompt, else the certificate gets installed in the client machine. If you donot want the certificate to sign the assembly, you can delete the certificate.
