I have a pc infected in that websites redirect to shopica.com rather than going to their intended site. Norton  and adaware don't seem to remove it. Anyone have a good manual solution for removal?

Thanks,
Doug

Hi , run TdssKiller
http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.zip
or
http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.exe

Tutorial on TDSSKiller:
http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?qid=208280684

or you could also try FixTDSS.exe from Symantec

http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/global/removal_tool/threat_writeups/FixTDSS.exe

Follow what SSharma suggested using TDSSKiller. Also check out the article on Google search redirects.

If the problem persists, also run ComboFix and show us the logfile.
download ComboFix by sUBs:
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

STOP all your monitoring programs (Antivirus/Antispyware, Guards and Shields) as they could easily interfere with ComboFix.
Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a log. Please save that log and attach it in your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouse-click combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

I tried several of the solutions and read the links above but the machine ulttimately did nto clear of the infection. I was able to install Microsofts Security Essentials. So far the infection has not return.

I had tried the Kaperski and the Symantec solutions. Combofix might have worked but I didnt get a chance to try it.

Thank you for your help! I really do appriciate your help.
