Display statistics via external script /IPB (Invision) board

is it possible to display activity, statistics via external script (widget if u will) for ipb board?

for instance for twitter i can show follower counter
for facebook - number of fans
for youtube - number of subscribers

via small php script

would be to display # of members for invision board

You might make a Google search for "invision board API" and see if anything turns up.  The same kind of search for Facebook API or Twitter API gets lots of good links.
