ASP.NET CreateUserWizard

I have the srectuserwizard setup and working, but now I must check one of the fields before I actually fire off the wizard.
The user must now enter an access key, and I must check it against the database.  So, I cannot use one of the validation controls.
Where can I write this code so if the access key is not valid, the use will not be created?

Add a function with the following signature to check the key...

     public delegate void LoginCancelEventHandler(object sender, LoginCancelEventArgs e);

...and add it to CreateUserWizard.CreatingUser
