Hi all,

I have clients wanting to move to Office 365, specifically MS Exchange online, however they need a compliance solution whereby every email in and out is is retained regardless of whether a user deletes email.

In the Office 365 blurb the following is mentioned:
Use advanced features like email archiving, multi-mailbox search, role-based access control, and legal hold to help your businesses stay in compliance.

Also the second last post in this thread here:

http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/149/t/4622.aspx

says:

"One of the fine people at MS (Ted Shultz, gave a great presentation on 365 to some EA clients) informed me to use the compliant archiving, you put ALL your users on Legal Hold, and then all changes will be stored, and all emails will be recoverable using multi-mailbox searches.

I have yet to test the theory, but hope this helps someone who was as vexxed as me when searching for the E3 unlimited archiving."

This sounds like what I need but there is no detail i can find anywhere of it in relation to Office 365.  Does anyone have any real experience with this, or any idea where some more detailed resources on its implementation and features can be found?

thanks,
nathan
