I guess you are using google postini (Your MX records pointing to Postini)

Make sure the recepient  user is added to Postini allowed user list.

You do not need postini,

Your MX record is pointing to "mail.strathcona.vic.edu.au ESMTP Postfix

So by default all the incoming e-mail from outside will first delivered to "mail.strathcona.vic.edu.au " and then your serevr

The above error "Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table" indicates that the server does not have the valid entry for test2@strathcona.vic.edu.au user id.

Due to spam filtering feauture on server "mail.strathcona.vic.edu.au " is rejecting the e-mail as server does not have any entry for user test2@strathcona.vic.edu.au

Login to "mail.strathcona.vic.edu.au " using control panel and add the user test2@strathcona.vic.edu.au  in safe list

OR you can also point the MX record directly to your server.
