Redirection og one URL to another URL with Apache2

I have a customer who is running a web site on apache2 on Suse Linux.

They want to rediret the URL www.anuecollege.edu.au/pay to www.blah.com/someurl. I am a complete novice with Apache and appreciate any help.

It all depends on how their server is setup and if it has virtual hosts.
If the www.anuecollege.edu.au/pay site is the only one defined then add the line:
Redirect /pay http://www.blah.com/someurl
or
Redirect permanent /pay http://www.blah.com/someurl
to the /etc/apache2/default-server.conf file.
If www.anuecollege.edu.au is a virtual host then the configuration for the site will be in a .conf file in the /etc/apache2/vhosts.d directory. You will need to look through the *.conf files in /etc/apache2/vhosts.d and look for a VirtualHost definition that has a ServerName line mentioning www.anuecollege.edu.au or anuecollege.edu.au. Then add one of the Redirect lines above anywhere between the <VirtualHost> and </VirtualHost> lines.
