how to how a website directory on a different ip

I have the following website

mywebsite.com  ( ip = 12345 )

I have new site that i would like to host on

mywebsite.com./newsite

that has the following ip 678910

is this acheivable. Are they any SEO penalties that i may incur

this is not possible. you can have multi IPs for the same domain name, but in your case you want to give a folder within a web site a different IP.

You can do this in different way:
- give mywebsite.com the IP 12345
- create new web-site newsite.mywebsite.com the IP 678910
