Screen Keeps going blank and locks user profile.

connect with vga
The screen after about 1 minute keeps going blank and locking user profile.
I have tried different power option settings but still the same result.
Tried a different screen( same model)  but still the same issue.
compared and changed settings to a simlar pc with same set up but still the same outcome.
can anyone help.

"locked user on blackscreens" sounds like a software (not hardware) based issue..
could you check your screensaver- and energysaving settings please?
maybe there is a misconfig regarding that "1 minute".

sometimes it is the simple things thast always get us in IT.
thanks for the help. the screen saver timer was set to 1 minute hence the issue.
