Hi-

I just took a new position which requires me to heavily use SAS. Any best practices on how to go about learning it the most effectively?

I really need to learn this program as I will be writing reports a lot.

Thanks

If you are near a university look for a statistics class that focuses on the SAS program. SAS has a license designation that allows your professor to make a student copy of SAS to take home for study (this is a HUGE install that spans several CD's). Taking the class will by no means make you an expert but it will give you enough knowledge to perform your job (assuming that you are already in the field of programming or statistical analysis).
