Vcenter server appliance

Dear Experts:
Actually iam more interested to deploy the Vcenter server appliance as this is pre-packaged application running on suse linux enterprise server.
Following are few doubts please help:
1. Can I install the Vcenter server appliance on the local storage itself this becomes one VM and later when the shared storage is implemented and ready then will migrate using the storage v motion before the evaluation period and then install the licensing of essential plus.
2. As iam having essential plus this come with vcenter server licence does this mean the vcenter server appliance (pre-packaged application running on suse linux enterprise 11
3. For your reference while purchasing the dell server also procured suse enterprise linux 11 subscription still not yet activated or subscribed.
Please help.

1. Yes, you can install vCenter appliance on local storage. You will be able to use Storage vMotion in the Evaluation period, if you do not apply ESXi host licenses.

2. You have the choice of using the vCenter appliance or vCenter Server installed on Windows, select which operating system your organization is most familiar, e.g. if you are familiar with Windows, install vCenter Server on Windows, if you are familiar with managing and support Linux, use Appliance.

3. Okay.
