Domain name and exchange

Hi, I have a internal domain wse1, it is not routable, it is just the domain name. We have outside email through red tail technology,a pop account. My clients are using exchange 2010. I setup the exchange account to use wse1, the exchange purpose allow the ability to search everybody mail at one time. Because I pop down the email through the excellent.

When a users sends email through the non host exchange account, they receive message  not found.. Outlook has two choices to send from exchange,
 
In short, when sending email Though outlook, I have a choice to send from the internal domain name which is not routable or the pop account. Who can I fix, this

You need to configure your exchange servers smtp settings.  With your current setup you just need to configure a smart host for send your outbound email through.  This would then be your clients default email account and they would have no need to drop the account button down to swap accounts.

Can a smart host be a outside Internet mail server? Smtp.redtailtechnologies.com
