how to stop office from wanting to configure everytime i open atachments??

hi , recently installed office 2007 on a clean installation of xp pro . after the install and activation, when the user opens attachements or documents in word or excel for example, the window that normally only comes up once when installing office " preparing and setup wizard-like window" , comes up every time ? i have reinstalled office, repaired it, still no luck ? any help will be appreciated.

When you install office, don't install the default selections (parts are then not immediately installed as they aren't selected in the default setup), but rather select all parts of Office.
