Hi Experts,

We have created one domain user account in Windows 2008 server.
The newly created user account should have access permission to fetch event viewers logs which is running on different 2008 server clients machines when this user logged into the arcsight central server. Is there any policy or groups to this user to acces evernt viewers logs in Arcsight central server.

There is the event log readers group that will allow you to read logs but not sure if that will be enough for the arcsight central server.  You may want to also check the documentation of that product.   It may need admin rights on that arcsight box (just local to that box)

Thanks

Mike
