Problem downloading Adobe Flash. It stops downloading after 12 or 13%

I seem to be unable to download Adobe Flash.  When I have been able to download it using an alternate method, I get the error message, "install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe is not a valid Win32 application.   My O.S. is Windows 7 64 bit.

Is this the one you are trying?

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=Flash_Player_10.3_for_Windows_Internet_Explorer&os=Windows%207&browser=Firefox

Try downloading it to a thumb drive on another PC, and launching there as well, to rule out any download corruption.....

I think you have a bad memory module...run windows memory diagnostic or memtest.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/How-do-I-know-if-my-computer-has-a-memory-problem

http://www.memtest.org/

I hope you have a good internet connection ...only then run the mem test...or it might be network related issue.

Can try to download the file from this website.

If multiple computers have this issue then the problem might be caused by your security software or network.

Boot the computer in safe mode with networking and try to download an exe application ..

If you are able to launch the exe then uninstall your security software ...reboot and check.

Are you trying to use a standalone installer or the web installer though?

Been out of office.  I'm trying various suggestions.  I will report back.  I think the problem is my ISP though.  I'm having problems downloading Office UPdates, as well as other common downloads.
I'll get back soon.
