I have ONE user that can't open word/excel/ 2010 attachments from Outlook 2010.

I have removed and reinstalled Office 2010 and have run the 2003 Outlook fixit tool and the 2010 fixit tool.

Thanks.

See if Enable Protected View for Outlook attachments is checked and uncheck it if so.

Another possibility: Does this occur when a different user profile is logged in?
If it doesn't, you may want to create a new profile for the user that cannot open the attachments.
