asked on

user cannot update distribution list membership list after his mailbox is moved from exchange 2003 to 2010.

A manager claims that after his mailbox is being moved from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, he is not able to update the membership list in a distribution list.  I have checked the properties setting of the DL and that manager is being shown.  

Please advice.   Thanks in advance.

JJ, when I open up the properties of the distribution group, under group information, I do see the manager's name under the "managed by" list.  Is this sufficient?  

I am not familiar with powershell and this is only for one user so I try not to run the script.  

Please advise again if you have the idea.

You need to follow the instructions and run the Manage-GroupManagementRole.ps1 script to resolve your issue.
