when you want to import an "External" you should first have this certificate as .pfx file and containing a private key. if you do then open EMC -> server configuration on the left hand side select the server you want to import the certificate to and then, in the lower portion of the screen, right click import certificate

Export :
http://nl.globalsign.com/en/support/ssl+certificates/microsoft/all+windows+servers/export+private+key+or+certificate/

but make sure to check " include private key" in the wizard.

Import:
same thing.
